“I love donald miller, and the way he approaches christian spirituality. It's always refreshing and quite literal. But, I found that this book didn't have the direction and focus of Blue Like Jazz. ”

I honestly had such high hopes for this book, but realized only too quickly that Mr. Miller is just like the other Christians he says that he's not like. If he was different I would think he'd consider using inclusive language and also offering up the philosophy of affirmation rather than mere tolerance. This wasn't the case however.
Yet another reason why I can't in good conscience call myself a Christian anymore.”
“I love this book and I love Donald Miller for making me willing to read about Christianity again. Miller is not your stereotypical Christian author, and I would recommend his books to anyone, not just other Christians.”
