I really enjoyed this book and it’s for sure a different perspective on the usual “finding God” story which is refreshing.

Easy reading, irreverant at times in a positive way, well worth reading.

Liked it. Not as good as Blue Like Jazz, but definitely a good read. Started to read it a few years back but thought it was to wording and trying to come off as being to philosophical. Picked it up again a few months ago and tried reading it again and was now hooked for some reason. I love reading about Donald's trips and his experiences on the road and meeting new people. Some chapters made me reflect on my own Christian beliefs and soul, while others made me laugh and connect to my own upbringing. Mr. Miller came to speak in my city and I regret not getting to go see him.

Donald Miller has done it again. This book is a little more serious than Blue Like Jazz, but just as good. He gives you clear ideas on spirituality Christ and the christian faith without seeming "preachy."
He is like a old friend you are having a cuppa Joe with at the corner cafe. He asked what do you think? And it leads you to do just that. Thanks Donald Miller for a thought provoking book.

Cooler Bible info than Blue Like Jazz.

This author strikes such a good balance between clinician of how Christians often disenfranchise non-Christians with a warmth and love of Christ Himself.

I loved this book. Significantly changed the way I read the Bible and understand God's love for me and my relationship with Him and others. Highly Recommend.
