I used to really enjoy these novels, but this one just had way too much going on and too many overhyped, undeveloped plots and subplots and miniplots. I never really had time to feel anything for any of the characters. I listened to this on audio during my commute, and my overall impression is "eh."

I am over halfway through this book and finally i am getting a picture in my mind of the characters. Doesn't normal;ly take this long on these books. Perhaps all will become clearer when i have finished reading it. Evelyn
