Who would have thought that Bobby Pendragon would come home from school to find that his house, family, and dog would be gone without a trace? Just an unprovable memory. But luckily Bobby's Uncle, Press Tilton can give him directions, yet there seems to be clues to what is to happen on this new territory called Denduron. How can Bobby forge forth and not have questions answered of where his family has gone. He still has Courtney and Mark....and he has acquired Saint Dane--the destroyer of Halla.

At first Bobby and Press ride Press' motorcycle to an abandoned subway in the Bronx, find a safe place, change their clothes and search for a door with a five-pointed star on it. When they go through the door, a melody plays and Saint Dane is first encountered. A murder of a friend's mother, new friends who speak languages beyond Bobby's knowledge; Bobby if forced, in sorts, to take on the responsibility to be the representative Traveler of Second Earth (where you and I live currently--I think). A travel through a mysterious contraption called a 'Flume" takes Bobby to his first world in Halla called Denduron. Where is has to save the world from Saint Dane. You see, he has ten worlds to keep safe from this monster, if he fails--there will be destruction...if he wins--he can scurely know that that world is safe from Saint Dane--for NOW....

In order to keep in contact with his best friends, he gives a ring to Mark ( his best friend on Second Earth in order to communicate via writings from Bobby).

Readers will be taken on a fantastic journey through flumes and other worlds and emotions that only a 14 year-old boy can experience.

This is the beginning of many adventures. Pendragon Adventure Series will be sure to keep you wanting more...traveling, eventually to all 10 worlds of Halla....
