“A seriously great read. I was very apprehensive to pick this up. I knew that it was long and I knew that it wasn't "modern" by my standards. I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself totally engaged in the cases of Sherlock Holmes. Watson is endearing as his chronicler. While these may be considered short stories, I take the entire collection as a whole, almost as if each tale is a mini-episode in a longer novel. Highly entertaining and a great forefather to the mysteries of today!...”
