Didn’t Like It2 of 2 members found this review helpful “A bit too syrupy and didactic for my taste. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I'd read it for the first time at a younger age. Or perhaps not. “I love the characters of the four girls as I could relate to each of them from different aspects of my own character. I sympathized with them in their trials, laughed and sang. It is delightful seeing the little women mature and grow under the wise guidance of their marmee.”

I also adore how this book is based around four very different female characters. I loved watching how they grew up. I just love this book. It was one of my reads that I took with me on every road trip I had. ”
