“Tom Sawyer is a great book, a classical realsistic fiction placed in about the 19th century. Its a really fun adventure everyday, getting into trouble and falling in love on the way! I recommend this book to anyone who wants a good and fun classic read!”

“Although this book was a bit long and the use of language a bit difficult, I would recommend reading this book beginning at the junior high level- together as a class. This book would be great in facilitating whole class discussions about the times in American history concerning slavery in addition to family and friend relationships.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was a tale about a young boy living on the banks of the Mississippi, who runs away from home, finds friendship with a handful of unique personalities, finds treasure, etc. It is a great story for individual reading or whole class read alouds.
This book would be great for junior highers- boys and girls- in addition to kids at the high school level. ”
