The 1st time I read this was when I was still a 6th-grader(elementary) and since then I've been hooked with classic novels such as by Jane Austen and Sir Conan Doyle... It gives a different feeling than to the modern books nowadays... At least the books from before are more conservative...

first read it in 6th and thought the book was positvely fun in a mysterious way but now that i read it wid the knowledge of a woman it gives me the creeps . just thinking of being at the mercy of others and running away at night all alone makes me frightened to the core .

This is one of the best books I've ever read. It's very interesting, a detective story and it is warmed by a little bit love thrown in.
