“This book is not at all what I expected, and I like it all the more for that. The characters are complex, the plot understandably vicious, and the culture of the time period interesting. Bronte seemed to have a couple of hiccups in the flow of the story (as it is narated by a person who is hearing the story through another person), but there is never a dull moment.”
