This is the single best sleep book I have ever read! Even if you decide on different ways to get your baby to sleep through the night, the theory and explanation of sleep patterns in babies is excellent! I love that he has a chapter devoted to colic babies too. It is a good combination of styles and he gives you choices that you can easily adapt to what you are comfortable doing.

Thank God I found this book. Like other readers mention, it is hard to pull the info out; but once I did, our 8-month-old was sleeping through the night.

This book is AWESOME!! My daughter is such a good sleeper and I definately attribute this book for that. It tells you how to see signs of sleepyness and how to handle your child in the nights.

Seriously poorly edited, but still valuable. Our kid is a "great sleeper" by any definition and I swear we owe it all to following the advice contained in these pages from the very beginning.

Probably the best over-view of infant sleeping habits. I would never go into a new read with the expectation that it will solve everything. But you can get some good views and approaches here.

Dr. Weissbluth lays out the science and cycle of sleep and how it effects your child in a clear and engaging manner. I followed his advice and my son - who just turned 2 - has always been an excellent sleeper.
