Crazy story about a man and his wife and both of their affairs. Had my head spinning to keep up. Key character is kind of pathetic. Even with all that I did enjoy the book because I wanted to know what was going to happen next.

If you decided to sketch the map of the love affairs and relationships described in this book, you would probably get something resembling quite a complicated fractal but elegant in its form.
I like the Murdoch’s style of writing – the plot may not be exiting but nevertheless I have been turning the pages and waiting impatiently to discover what’s going to happen next.”
