- Natalie "Tully" Makker: Tully was physically and mentally abused as a child and needs a lot of emotional healing from this, then loses her best friend and is really struggles to deal with it, along with everything else in life that she is not emotionally ready to handle. It is good to see her finally finding some healing little by little.
- Robin DeMarco: Robin seems to be willing to put up with about anything, even if his actions ultimately cause more damage and pain.
- Robin "Boomerang" DeMarco, Jr.: Tully and Robin's son.
- Jennifer Mandolini: Tully's best friend who really let her and her family down.
- Hedda Makker: What a poor excuse for a woman and mother. Her last act in the end seems to actually be a sacrfice for her daughter, but really too little too late. (I've never read about a mother I hated more.)
- Jack Pendel: A very selfish man who uses those who fall for him.
- Jenny Pendel DeMarco: Tully's Daughter.
- Julie Martinez: Julie seems to be a weak figure in this triangle of friends. She remains somewhat there through the years for Tully but overall in a very disappointing amount.
