Description
Here begins the tale of Daja, Briar, Tris, and Sandry, four children brought to Winding Circle Temple for training in crafts and magic. They are outcasts in their homeland. But in this magical place, they are valued and respected for their special powers.
Cast of Characters/Important People
- Sandrilene fa Toren "Sandry": Sandry is a optimistic noble with a temper. She has an iron will and a sence of justice. Very friendly and hates bullys. She also has Thread Magic, or is a Stitch Witch, and is taught by Lark. Sandry is afraid of the dark.
- Trisana Chandler "Tris": Tris is a weather witch with a temper. She was passed from relative to relative and was unwanted. She has curly red hair and grey eyes hidden behind brass rimmed specticals. She lives animals and books. Her teacher is Nico.
- Briar Moss: Brier was a street rat before he was taken to winding circle. he has plant magic and is taught by Rosethorn. He is good at heart but he was a thief. He loves food.
- Daja Kisubo: Daja was a shipwrecked Trader and is subjected to teasing, taunting, and bullying. But Daja can handle herself with her staff. She has smith magic and is taught by Frostpine.
First Sentence
In the Palace of Black Swans, Zakdin, capital of Hatar: Blue eyes wide, Lady Sandrilene fa Toren watched her near-empty oil lamp.
