“I'm a horse lover. Which usually means that, if a horse is abused, hurt, or other such things in books, I may not like the book, what for my own imagination and what it can do to me. But I've always loved Black Beauty, even in all his troubles. He grows up in a place he loves, but change has to come, as it always does, and he has to be moved to somewhere else. He goes through several different owners and abuse along the way... only, in the end, to come back to the one he truly loves and...”
