“Another wonderful book by Susan Wiggs.
What can I say? This is probably the best book by her that I have read yet. It is wonderful story of family, love, hopes and dreams.
Grace is a Navy wife, her husband Steve and their three teenage children have lived all over the world because of his career. But now things seem to be falling apart. A secret from the past comes back and the fragile hold that Grace and Steve have on their relationship begins to fall apart. Then Steve is deployed and a terrible accident occurs.
This book had me on the edge of my seat. It begins with that accident, and then goes back to see what happened in the months leading up to it, so it isn’t till the very end that you find out the outcome. This book had me laughing and near the end, crying. I was rooting for Grace, Steve and their family throughout the whole book. It also gave me a special appreciation for those who have husbands or wives serving in the military. Wonderfully written.
