This book was your classic, fairy tale. When young Edward VI and a poor boy, Tom Canty find themselves looking alike, they switch. When Edward is in Tom Canty's spot he lives the live of a pauper and Tom lives the life of a well suited prince. Basic and in some places I found my self skipping whole paragraphs of descriptions of characters who weren't important to the story.
If you like elizabethian times and historical fantasy I suggest this book.

a story of a prince and a pauper, with familiar faces, who were bored up of their lives and wanted a change. So they met each other by coincidence, and changed their roles to live each others lives...and then a lot many things thereafter...

A classic tale of difference of status and the consequent different lives in the same society, which might seem to be set in past but is timeless so far.

Classical. Feel good. But they never saw the difference? Is this Superman and Clark Kent?

I absolutely love Mark Twain. This, as with everything he's written that I've read, is great.

This was the only Mark Twain book I ever could get into. I am sort of ashamed I was never a fan of Huck Finn or Tom Sawyer. But I do love many of Mark Twain's humorous quotes!
