One of the pivotal novels of horror, Frankentsein is one of the best books I have ever read. Come to think of it, it is not actually a horror novel. It is the story of a man who sets out to do the unthinkable, and succeeds. Only a man with the biggest amount of pride and ego would want to actually give life to a human being. A great insight into the human condition, A Must Read!

A great classic. Better than I expected (since my mind was polluted with all the Frankenstein movies I had seen over the years). A creepy, surreal, haunting story. I just found it a little hard to read due to the language that was used at the time but I am glad I read it.

This is one of my favorite books. It is beautifully written, brilliantly constructed and asks a lot of philosophical questions of science which are still relevant today. I need to read it again!!!!
