They cover a significant amount of material very well in a small book. Though there are better books to buy today as a C programmer, this will always be a gem.” see full review » see other reviews » |

Known simply as "Kernighan and Ritchie" by the entire programming community, this book needs no further recommendation. If you want to program C, you need this book.”

It's fun when you know and understand how to use this part and that. More fun when you can create your own programme. Try to understand it by do some practice everyday. Have fun!”

It is simply a reference. Also, you will likely need additional reference materials for features and functions specific to your C compiler and development environment, as these may provide their own custom implementations of the standard functions described in this book as well as possibly providing additional variations of the standard functions for reasons of security, execution time, memory efficiency, etc.”
