“I've read this book 2 or 3 times. The descriptive pros do a phenomenal job capturing my imagination and bringing me to 1920-something NYC. I don't think I had to read this book in high school like most people but it didn't matter--after reading the book multiple times I think I've gotten a lot out of it anyway.
If you love the classics I would highly recommend this book.”
