I've read this book 2 or 3 times. The descriptive pros do a phenomenal job capturing my imagination and bringing me to 1920-something NYC. I don't think I had to read this book in high school like most people but it didn't matter--after reading the book multiple times I think I've gotten a lot out of it anyway.

If you love the classics I would highly recommend this book.

This was another book that was assigned to read in High School. I had rated it a 7 out of 10 but I bet if i read it again now, I would enjoy it and appreciated it more.

Tons of symbolism... although the writing sometimes doesn't make sense, I like how F. Scott Fitzgerald's characters think. :)

Read it for school, and I didn't like it. But then again, maybe thats because I was forced to read it...

This book is a great interpretation of the 1920's jazz age. It depicts a man with an ultimate goal of attaining a girl that he once loved. This books overall message is to attain your dreams. As the story progressed it became more dramatic and thats what i liked about this book.

The classic! A well written glimpse of the roaring twenties-- why do I always hear about Jay Gatsby when the real character is Nick Carraway! Daisy! Wonderful,
