“I have no idea why this is considered the greatest book ever written. I think the American-dream is better defined within the pages of some of Fitzgerald's other works such as "Winter Dreams". But neither of them should be deemed as the greatest book. Dickens wrote better than Fitzgerald and the only book he wrote considered great was A Christmas Carol.”

“from what i got from the blurb was that gatsby was this really decadent and the characters were all tese dorian gray debauched types. this was what drew me in. however they didnt come off like that at all. was a bit disapointed by this, but it was still really good.”
