“I seen the movie so it counts.”
“from what i got from the blurb was that gatsby was this really decadent and the characters were all tese dorian gray debauched types. this was what drew me in. however they didnt come off like that at all. was a bit disapointed by this, but it was still really good.”
“I had to read this book in High School. I think that if I had read it on my own, I wouldn't have liked it. But, since I had a great teacher helping the class to interpret the underlying messages I really enjoyed reading it. ”
“This book was boring, i did not like it. Then again i dont think i read the book.”
“this book makes me want to throw parties.5/5 stars, seriously ..”
“I've had a few people recommend for me to read The Great Gatsby, but still haven't heard anything about its contents or story line. There was a possibility to read it for my TAG Literature class, but it didn't work out. We decided to read a different story. It's been a book that keeps reoccuring in conversations and I'm wondering if its worth the time and effort to read. Any thoughts?”
“I have already read what people think about this book i`ii take it this semester in just 4 classes and we will discuss it in class and i have to read it in 6 hours ..then i will be able to judge..I hope it will be an excitement book.” ”
“I really liked this book. I feel like the reading was very different than most. I thought that the relationship between Fitzgerald and the characters was more deeply related than we were allowed to think. I want to see the movie to see how it compares to the book. ”
“This book was alright but it was definitely better than all the movie versions. The novel provides the reader with a greater insight on the characters. But the plot isn't all that great. I would like there to be more at the end. There were a lot of loose ends which wasn't solved. ”
