Didn’t Like It 2 of 2 members found this review helpful Rated 1 stars “This book was too dark for me and made me feel horrible; unfortunately I had to read the entire thing for a class. It focuses a lot on the main character's thoughts of suicide and prostitution.   “This is a great read! I don't know why they made me read it in 7th grade, though. It's pretty brutal. But it's very approachable for those who don't generally enjoy "the classics."”
