  “I felt there was something missing after reading this biography. The biography made me appreciate Jackson as being the right man at the right time, but did not give an accurate picture of his entire presidency. I was hoping H.W. Brand dictated both the positives and negatives - the reader should only expect positives. Negatives are glossed over and excuses given. A good personal biography, but look elsewhere for presidential insights.”
