This book is a must read every year so that one can keep focused on what is truly important in life. It is written in such a way that al of life is brought alongside scripture so that one can see what God's expectation os mankind actually is in relationship with Him. This is a book that gives hope and direction.

Life is not a series of haphazard situations but carefully planned events that perfect and complete HIS plan for us...The only book other than the Bible than explains this well!

As far as summing up a life of intentional purpose goes, this book is pretty darn good. Warren writes with a very broad audience in mind, so some people might feel like they're being talked down to, but sometimes us smart-ass types need to learn a little humility anyway! Many have been critical of Warren for being overly "seeker sensitive". O well!
