“This was the first book I've read by Jodi Picoult, and it definitely makes me want to read more. It's very emotionally intense and provides a beautiful exploration of different aspects of human nature, which is something I appreciate in a novel. I have heard other people say that the ending is technically not feasible because after having a seizure, patients are not allowed to drive. But as we know, just because there's a law in place doesn't mean people always follow it. I think the twist at then end adds great depth into the story, because it makes you rethink assumptions you've had during the course of the whole novel. A very complex and heart-wrenching tale.”
