A must read for anyone interested in urban planning, world's fairs, Chicago history or...ick...serial murderers.

Great book. Two stories really that merge together. One story about the making of the World's Fair in Chicago...sooo interesting. The other story a scarry, dark side. Great read.

One of my favorite books ever!! I was intriqued, fasinated, and in awe the whole time I was reading this. I loved both the history of the worlds fair and the plot about the psychopath killer. I'm hoping this book gets made into a movie soon!

I found the descriptions of the building of Chicago's world fair absolutely facinating. Add to that the concept of removing whole north African villages and displaying them at the fair and you have a facinating book. I was not so interested in the killer, i felt he belonged in a different book.

I really liked this book a lot. My only complaint is that it does not have enough pictures. Small complaint, but still. Highly recommended.
