It's been years since I read it, and while I remembered the basic plot, people, and whatnot, I didn't remember how great of a story-teller Erik Larson is and how easily he draws the reader into his story. I also took a History of Chicago class my senior year of college, so tons of the details and historical stuff have a strong relevance for me and I feel like I have good background on it all. So glad I got to read it again!”
