“Lencioni takes a fable approach to upper management's abilities to solve problems within a company and tackles the team approach. There's "them that are team players, and them that aren't". Do you like working in a team environment? Or in a company that approaches problems as a team to identify and resolve? If so, you'll like this book”

It's an extremely quick read (a plane ride for instance) and it's teachings will stick with you for a long, long time.
A key point is that a team is most effective when operating at a level of “vulnerability-based trust” versus the primarily superficial level of experience-based trust we apply based on predictability due to past-performance.
Lencioni does an amazing job of explaining the deeper level of (work-based) intimacy that is required for teams to hit peak performance together. ”
“This is one of the few business/management books I have given 5 stars, but it is eminently readable, well illustrated by it's introductory 'fable' and honest in admitting that while the concepts are easy the practice isn't. I recommend it to anyone working with groups with the warning: it will be a lot harder than it sounds, but I know it would be worth it.”

My mother saw it lying on our table and read it one Mother's Day afternoon! Then I read it in two sittings. Finally, my husband was able to get it back to read. A very intriguing hard to put down book about how to make a team 'work'. ”

As the book is in more story format, it is very interesting and the story demostrates practically how the team can oversome its dysfunctions to achieve results. ”
