very interesting and a great read. I had a hard time putting it down and finished it in a day! It offered some interesting perspectives and gave me a lot to think about.

I liked this a lot. Putting information across in a fictional story is actually a great way to help you apply the information. You recognize the characters.

Don't normally put my business reading on Shelfari but this one is an exception - it was really enjoyable so much so that I forgot I was reading it for work and actually wanted to know what happened next!

Good points,, but it reads like a crappy romance novel. Just read the last 30 pages, which summarize the points and give you some exercises to move forward with your work.

Easy to read and very informational book about management. The five dysfunctions are:
    1. Absense of trust
    2. Fear of conflict
    3. Lack of commitment
    4. Avoidance of accountability
    5. Inattention to results

Easy book to read about teamwork. We quote a few of the principles of this book in our Thomas Reprographics leadership training.

Although there is no set way to lead a team, or to be a team for that matter, this book outlines five possible dysfunctions of a team. Written in scenario style, Lencioni does a fair job of walking us through the transition of a dysfunctional team.

    Readable, and barely noteworthy.
