I am not doubting this guy might have had a screwed up childhood, but there is something even more disturbing about his need to share these extremely intimate and grotesque details of his life. “Weird to say the least...it definitely was nothing I expected, but I am glad that i didn't watch the movie before reading the book. I have no idea how someone actually lived through this book, especially the author and then took it upon themselves to document it...however it's so insane that they probably thought there was no other way people would believe it unless it was documented in a memoir! I'm interested in seeing the movie now and also having my husband watch it with me so he gets a glimpse of what was in the book I just finished!”

“I really don't know how to rate or review this book...truth is indeed stranger than fiction because this is one hell of a strange memoir! Horrifying in parts and comletely absurd...why did I keep reading you may wonder? I wanted to know WHAT BECAME of this boy...and now I know...at least he survived and has gone on to lead a productive life!”
