I have read this book more than 4 times over the last 8 years. It has given me the right perspective of how to manage and balance the challenges of life. I will recommend this as a must read, it is life impacting. "Between stimulus and response there is a gap", this has helped me to learn how to keep my cool always since I now know that nobody can force me to react, it is and will always be my choice.

I had to read this book for my job and I found it interesting. I normally don't read self-help books but since I had no choice I figured I'd make the best of it. It was not the easiest book to read but I found myself learning from it. I saw a lot of things in the book that were me, things I need to work on. It was informative.

You can read my comments on my shelf, but I agree with Selina. I love the concepts but it is tough reading, and I had to go back on occassion to understand many of them. Love the Quadrant though!

Threw up my hands at this book. The prinicples are common sense but the writing and exposition of these principles are anything but. The author needs to put a glossary in the back with all the new -fangled words he's made up besides the advertisments for his leadership seminars.

And if you happen to work for an organisation that is win-lose anyway there is just no way you can change it. The other option? No deal..but hang on isn't that the same as lose-lose?

Not only does Covey give you the 7 habits, his book actually lays out how to execute them in your own life. This book is not just theory.
