The Glass Castle

by Jeannette Walls

Jeannette Walls's father always called her "Mountain Goat" and there's perhaps no more apt nickname for a girl who navigated a sheer and towering cliff of childhood both daily and stoically. I really really liked this book. It got to the point that I couldn't put it down. I found it absolutely riveting. After I finished reading it, I did an online search of the author. Watched video clips and read some interviews. She is beautiful and articulate. She also wrote a book called "Dish" (she was the gossip columnist for MSNBC for years). I want to check that one out too.
