If you want more of this concept try Octavia Butler's Kinder. Anything by Butler is amazing (we lost her way too soon).

I just finished reading this book. I really liked it. I'm a sap for anything like lovey like that haha! I've been putting reading it off and off until a few days ago when I picked it up. When I started I just struggled to put it down. It was a really good story, very sad. It's a beautiful love story. It's heartbreaking.I'd definitely recommend this to anyone. I hope the film version isn't terrible but I think it will be.

Good story, but poorly written. The sentence structure is really clunky and distracting.
