“I thought To Kill a Mockingbird was one of the most enjoyable in-class reads I've done. I liked the time period of the story and where it took place. Its nice to learn about the Great Depression and how things were like in the past. I think Harper Lee did a very good job adding mysterioius and instense to the plot line. Throught the story it shows us alot about prejudice and courage! Prejudice is a big thing against black and whites and woman and men. An example is over a man named Tom Robinson and how hes accused of raping a white women. In that time period they would not rule over a black man over a white. Also how women were not aloud in trial activities. I think the favorite "parts" throughtout the whole book was the wondering of "Boo Radley" and how Jem and Scout reacted towards him. This story has many life stories and the actual meaning of to kill a mocking bird is or could be a life lesson to all! ”
