I started to read this awhile ago but couldn't finish it. It's supposed to be amazing. I think I'll try to read it again.

This was a very well-written, good book. The end really surprises you, and the characters draw you in. Boo Radley is a very important character, and he makes you sad for him, and in the end, you'll find something that you never expected.

Shows the racism that went on in a society that had a long way to mature.

I never had to read this in school. In my attempt to read the classics that I had missed along the way, I picked this up one summer. I was most impressed!

Harper Lee's writing is wonderful. Too few writer's possess that use of language she has.

Wonderful book. Story of growing up, learning hard lessons about the world. You know each of the characters and their motivations, and love and hate them accordingly. I highly recommend this; after you read it, I also recommend the movie with Gregory Peck. It is true to the book.

    Good book about societal justice.

"Pass the damn ham." - Scout

Favorite line. It was interesting that it was told from the perspective of a child.
