“This book is good but goes a little slow in the beginning. It shows people growing up and peoples' perspective on black people. I recommend this book to people that like to read about racism issues and find it interesting to read about court cases.”

“This book is told from a child's point of view because it's a flashback of maycomb county. it also tells about a case involving a black man who goes to jail because a white girl tried to force herself on him. It's also about these kids trying to make a local resident come out just because they want to see him at a least once.

My favorite character in this book is Jean Louise Finch (Scout) because she reminds me of me when i was in my younger ages except for the love part in her life.

I recommend this book to someone who likes to read about cases and this book is sometimes based on racism and mob mentality.”

“ This was a high school book...a required high school book so we had to pretty much look into everything in the book. In some cases that's oodles of fun. In this case, not so much. I think this book is meant to just be appreciated not analyzed.”
