This is an amazing, probably more so because I had the honor of talking to the author for a few hours; he's a genius. This book argues against the materialist view of the brain, arguing that the brain is the child of the mind. It discusses Schwartz's work with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) patients, and how free will can actually change their brain. In effect, mind over matter. Parts of it are very technical, certainly over my head, but it's a fascinating read and very accessible...
