Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a charming book. It is Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As Voldemort's forces get together and a spirit of despair and gloom sweeps the land, it becomes to Harry that he will soon have to confront his destiny. Can Harry complete in the dangerous tasks ahead?

For a book that is practically all domino setup, very good. I get tired of Harry lurking outside the Room of Requirement, but the trips into the Pensieve are engrossing and the chapter called "The Cave" the most horrifying in the whole series. Plus Phlegm, Won-Won, and Luna as Quidditch announcer.

I loved this bok because it was so sad. Dumbledore died and Harry was crushed because Dumbledore was the only person that Harry really loved. When the reader found out that Snape was the murderer of Dumbledore then Harry wanted revenge. Harry is now trying to find the last 3 horrocruxes that are still hidden by Voldemort. Will harry find them and destroy them, will Vodemort kill him? Well I have to keep reading :)

He knows the Voldemort is on the rise, and he only has so much time before he will be back, and be coming after Harry! With the help of Dumbledore and his friends, Harry must decide whats important...and how far he will go to save the ones he loves.

So far Dumbledore is taking Harry through Voldermorts past so when Harry has to face him in the end it might help him. That isn't the only thing Dumbledore has to tell him, one of his hands is hurt and won't tell Harry until the time is right. Harry must also find out what Draco Malfoy is up to.

Lord Voldemort has returned and his wrath has been felt in both the Muggle (non-magical) and Wizarding worlds. Severus Snape, a member of Dumbledore's anti-Voldemort Order of the Phoenix but formerly one of Voldemort's Death Eaters, meets with Narcissa Malfoy, mother of Harry Potter's school rival Draco.
