Personal-finance author and lecturer Robert Kiyosaki developed his unique economic perspective through exposure to a pair of disparate influences: his own highly educated but fiscally unstable father, and the multimillionaire eighth-grade dropout father of his closest friend. The lifelong monetary problems experienced by his "poor dad" (whose weekly paychecks, while respectable, were never quite sufficient to meet family needs) pounded home the counterpoint communicated by his "rich dad" (that "the poor and the middle class work for money," but "the rich have money work for them"). This book should complement a middle or high school finance course. It is very discouraging that we train our citizens to be so academically focused. Cashflow 101 is a very nice tool to put Mr. Kiyosaki's principles to the test.

The principles make so much sense. I have seen the results of Kiyosaki's financial advise in my personal application of these principles.

It's rare to find a good financial advise from financially literate people. Kiyosaki is one of those rare people.
