Human being are very sensitive and emotional in nature. The success on any person lies on the way he understand others by reading his face and building a relationship.

Did you ever smell something and then try to describe the smell? You sniff and sniff and suddenly you can't smell anything at all. It's like you wore out your nose.
I think this is what our unconcious is like. It only works if we ignore it.

This book is amazing. It gives scientific evidence for all the judgements we make. It's a blur, really, after reading the whole thing. But I know I'll have better insights in my writing life. It would be a fabulous reference book.

I've just finished the book and am still digesting it. Overall, I'd have to say that it starts to go into interesting areas but then toward the end circles back and leaves some areas undefined. I realize talking about the unconscious mind could probably fill an encyclopedia but I guess he had to cut it off somewhere.
