“I can not believe that I read this book. And I mean that in the very best way. I have never read a book like this. I enjoyed it from the begining to the very end.
The charcter of Jacob is so vivid that I could see him with my minds eye. When he is living in the nursing home, he makes you see what he is feeling about everything that is going on around him. And when he remembers his life in the circus, the story just jumps off the page and into you heart.
I feel that the author did a wonderful job in writing this story. She brings to life the scenery and life of a circus in circa 1930.
I would highly recommend this book to everyone!”
