Ibn Khaldun is considered the father of modern sociology and this book is considered the first scientific book written on history.
His insight is cold and rational, his observations amazingly objective(mostly) and his style surprisingly modern.

    A classic book on history and sociology. i got my own copy of it lastly, as a gif from my friend Salah Sir Al Khtim. i recommend this book for every body interested in history or sociology or Arabic - Islamic culture.
