“This book is so cute. I absouloutly love it! It is about a man that is married and they get a dog. You would think that its cute and gentil but Marley is sooo reckless!”

“When I first saw the preview of the movie, my first impression was – “This would be a movie with a happy ending”. Little did I know that it was actually... bittersweet. Reading the novel itself made me learned and understood more about this sweet dog and his loony behaviours. I truly felt like I was there, watching him grew from a wiggly yellow furball puppy to a ninety-seven-pound Labrador retriever. I felt like I witnessed him committing every single mischief, developing relationship with John and Jenny and also how his presence completes the family.

I have to admit that my eyes welled several times throughout this book. Never before did I cry over any books that I ever read, but this Lab honestly pulled my heartstring. Few chapters towards the end, the well break open and those fat tears gashed down my cheeks without me realising it. And when it comes to the point where the author described his feelings towards Marley, I began to sob.
I can feel the emotion of the author as he spilled his memory of Marley in his writing.
I can feel the happiness that Marley brought to the family.
And most important of all, I can feel Marley, himself.
This is a very good read for everyone especially to those that own their very own pets. In some awkward ways, they all teach us something in life that we don’t even bother to think or have a look about.”
