It was a TON of fun. Yeah, people set off fireworks on New Years here too, but not so much at Christmas. Midnight Feasts sound like a lot of fun! Thanks!

I'm glad to hear that your Christmas was nice. I hope you had a memorable time with your Grandma! Happy New Year to you as well! My Christmas was... quiet! Well, Christmas day was anyway. It was just my parents, my little brother and I. But, the day after Christmas... that's a different story. All my older siblings and their families came over to have a Christmas celebration. I have four older siblings, so between them, their spouses, and all their children, there was I think 20 of us! Plus, all 8 of my nieces and nephews are ages 6 and under! :) Yeah, things did get a bit loud and crazy when it came to open gifts with the little ones, but family is wonderful!
May God meet you in new ways in 2011! Have a blessed year!!

Yeah, I guess Shakespeare works kind of balance out in that way.

Darn! you can't escape his (Shakespeare's) romantic style of writing! I think I would still enjoy Midsummer Night's Dream anyway, because its about fairies. Fairies are awesome!

Awesome! Was "Midsummer's Nights Dream" pretty good? I'm kind of bummed that "A Merchant of Venice" has another romance thing going on again. I like things a like more intense than that, but thankfully this play seems to have a more serious storyline than "Romeo and Juliet".

I am just about to read the "Merchant of Venice". I have a lot more appreciation for Shakespeare this year then last- "Romeo and Juliet" was just too predictable. That was the play I read last year. I'm hoping I'll soon be able to read "A Midsummer's Night Dream" and "Hamlet". Have you ever read any of these?

Wow, "Don't Waste Your Life" sound like more than I expected it to be, I'll have read it over the course of Christmas break. Plus, I think that would be a great time to be readily reminded of the Gospel's truths. :)
Nope, I still haven't picked up "STAT HERE" either. My school schedule pretty much keeps me on my toes. But hey, but at least I get to read Shakespeare this coming week in my Literature class! :D

Hey Alyssa, how is the book by John Piper "Don't Waste Your Life". Is it basically a a book about the gospel? And have you ever read any of C.J Mahaney's books?
