I'm a preschool teacher who has a great love of reading, blues music, gardening, cooking and my three cats. I am a very eclectic reader who reads both fiction and non-fiction. I have a particular love of mysteries and historical fiction with a favorite being the medieval period. I like non-fiction about animals, history, biography and some travel.

I originally thought to use Shelfari for books I have just read, but realized I hadn't chronicled in anyway books of the past 10 years. I also may be adding those books which seem to stay with me forever as I view those as my "important" books.

I am not including my large collection of picture books or my collection of cookbooks. « less
