    • Its a wonderful book that combines history with a travelogue. Alice Albinia follows the famous river Indus from where it falls in the Indian Ocean in Pakistani province of Sindh to where it originates up in Tibet. Along the way, she visits some amazing places and meets a plethora of characters that make the book interesting to a general history.all the more interesting. She had beautifully combined the history of subcontinent and Indus valley civilisation. One can not help but wish one were a part of her journey.
