    Hey, how did you feel about the smoke thief. Im getting the impression that it is a paranormal romance, and im more into paranormal/fantasy without the explicit sex scenes that muddle up the plot and never quite seem to make sense. Was the book good enough to stick through the romance or should I skip? sounds good, but im not sure if i can make it through a harlequinney romance...

    Hey there everyone! It’s Stuffy one of your Mods from the Shelfari book group, Patricia Briggs Fans. I just wanted to give a friendly hello to everyone and invite you to come post in the new topics in our wonderful group! And let you know that there’s been some very exciting things going on in the world of Patricia Briggs.

    First, The Mercy Thompson series has been optioned by a major studio for a possible movie adaptation. Next, the first shipment of the Mercy Thompson graphic novel titled, Mercy Thompson: Homecoming (by the Dabel Brothers and Patricia Briggs) will be shipped starting the first week of November. So order your copy today! Also, The History Channel is doing a special on werewolves and our favorite author and her husband will be featured, so keep an eye out! Last, Patti has announced that she has started work on her newest novel, the sequel to Cry Wolf, titled Hunting Ground.

    Vampires, Witches & Were’s all that
    would like to invite you to participate in the ABC contest starting on July 1, 2008.
    I will post a thread that has the letters of the ABC's list, then start your own thread for example mine would be Sherry's ABC's and list the books that you read with those letters has the first letter in any title of book, it doesn't have to be in the genre either. Each person will be responsible for sending me their points via the group email at vampireswitchesweresallthat@yahoo.com. For every book you read during the time period (until the next letters are posted) you will receive 10 points in the email you must list the title, author, and pages so that if there is tie, we will use page count to break the tie. Everyone is eligible to win, even admin's as a third party will be keeping track of the points for me...so post the books you read...I will post the first letters on July 1.

    Just a reminder that our book for June in Vampire's Witches and Were's is Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Ms. Frost has agreed to visit our group for the day (AWESOME!) to talk to us about her book! While we read, lets take notes so we'll be ready for our one on one with this popular author!
