And I definitely recommend reading The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare. I think it is something you would definitely be interested in. She has two different series out, the second one being the Infernal Devices which is a prequel to the Mortal Instruments. I recommend reading the Mortal Instruments before the Infernal Devices though.

I know this is such a late response, but on the topic of Crescendo, I gave it 5 stars because of the whirlwind of emotion I felt and the ability to have been able to identify with Nora.
