I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and high school librarian. I have been a lifelong reader and am currently reading mostly YA lit in order to be able to knowledgeably recommend books to my students (plus I love YA lit!).     I really liked it too! It was a little slow starting, but once it picked up, it was great! I'm reading a few other things right now, and my reward for finishing them will be to get The Girl Who Played with Fire. My teacher book club is reading Room, which is told from the perspective of a young boy whose mother was kidnapped and he is the product of the kidnapper raping his mother. They are contained to one room in the house and this is all the boy knows.
